Straight From the Heart
We welcome you to join us in supporting artists with disabilities and enriching your life with art that comes straight from the heart. Straight from the Heart is our annual exhibition. It begins February 3rd and culminates with our annual fundraising auction on February 18th at the Creative Spirit Art Centre. Pick up a bidder number at 1 pm on the 18th and enjoy live music until 1:30 pm when the live auction begins, followed by the silent auction, at 1:45 pm. We do not pay a professional fundraiser so all the money we raise pays for our running costs and art supplies for our artists with disabilities. This year's auction features a special selection of Inuit sculpture from Dorset Fine Arts artists and work by Gabe Anderson, Robert J. Anderson, Meiko Ando, Gilles Arseneault, Janet Basmadjian, Maria Bonilla, Kristine Erglis, Orhan Guven, Alan Hooks, Cynthia Kemerer, Will Kennedy, Catharine Little, Marc Labonté, Ollie Pavao, Michael Tam and others.

Help keep the creative spirit alive by joining us for our annual fundraiser. Our studio and exhibit provide a safe and accessible space for artists with disabilities to work in, and every donation helps keep our doors open for another year. Treat yourself to an intimate wine and cocktail event. End the afternoon by leaving with an amazing work of art and making new friends!

We will be auctioning a unique selection of Inuit sculpture from Dorset Fine Arts.

...the latest Dolls by Hanni Sager, from Oaxaca, Mexico. Hanni told me that these are likely the final art dolls which she can make and send back to Toronto. In spite of living with a disease which has been eroding Hanni's ability to make art; she has created and donated fabulous art for our art auction.

Our Very Special Art charity is dedicated to making visible the visions of people who are voiceless in our society.

Straight From the Heart is our annual fundraiser auction and exhibition which features art by established Canadian artists, emerging Canadian artists and Creative Spirit artists.
Preview plus early bidding on silent auction and registration starts May 17th. Final bids for silent and live auction, Sat. May 26th, 1 - 3 p.m. Live auction bidding starts 2 p.m. (Silent auction bidding closes 2:30 p.m).
Your generous support given in the spirit of kindness, creativity and a belief in the magic of community keeps our charity alive. You give hope and support to artists with disabilities and a place for them to make, exhibit and sell their art.
We are powered by volun- teers, individuals and businesses who provide professional skills and time.

Every year artists, collectors and dealers donate artwork to help us raise much needed funds. As a charitable organization providing access ible studio and exhibition space to artists with disabilities we rely on the generosity of individuals and corporations to keep our doors open.
